I need to take time out to organize my life!

From my art, to my blogs, to my house! Everything is in disarray which is what happens when you work silly full time hours, i never have enough time in one sitting to finish a task, so I end up not bothering at all. And so it is left undone. FRUSTRATION.

Just a quick review of a 2 beautifully skilled artists. (To repeat, THIS IS NOT MY WORK, this is simply work I find inspiring)

Love the delicate use of shading, really accentuates the original asian elements of the piece, as does the colour choice, giving the overall sleeve an antiqued look.

Volko Merschky

The use of negative space in this piece is breathtaking. Even down to the white smoke merging to grey shadow across the letter(bottom left), the attention to detail is outstanding.

I especially love this last piece. Incredibly simple design and beautifully executed. Truly effective as a tattoo.

Shop refit is going well! Had a painting party (lol) tonight, didnt finish till late but was totally worth it. Studio is going to be stunning when its finished, and were all on the same wavelength in terms of decor. Only problem is working through the inbetweeny stage but we'll get there!

We now have a fully functioning, light flashing, god-like consultation room, which has made me a lot happier as our custom work truely will be custom work now. Hurray.

Had drawing/painting planned for tonight but ended up just lying in bed all night on here. Was good though, needed a chill out.

Perhaps tomorrow!
